The Hunter and The Beast by M

Once there lived a Beast in a valley. The valley was called the Valley of Death. Everyone feared the mighty creature and talked about how cruelly people faced a fate much worse than death when they were caught by it. One day, there came a hunter, who had nerves of steel and guts of a mountain. He was ready to face it and went to the valley. Days passed by, but the Beast never came in. He felt insulted, and went in search for the Beast. As he searched deep in the place, there was never a trace of the giant. All he could see was peace and tranquility and forest full of flowers and fragrance. For a moment, he stopped and reminded of what the prophecy talked about. "The one who needs him never gets him, he himself finds us, when the dark time approaches, in the midst of serenity." The hunter waited for a moment and started to sit there and filled up his mind full of negativity. Days passed but the Giant Beast they spoke of never ever approached. All he felt was the words being spoken out about the occult beast were fibs. Enraged hunter turned back and while he was about to leave, he saw a mirror which unleashed itself towards him, giving him chills shaken from the spine. He felt  consternation for a moment and gathered himself back. While the beast moved towards him, he ran towards it with rage filled anguish. A deadly battle was fought for days and none seemed to loose. But as time passed, both must have realised a very important lesson that the world ignored - Ego! Ego is what makes and breaks an individual.  The hunter left his ego while the Great Giant Beast fell to the ground. While the world saw the Giant Beast shattered, the hunter saw a Mighty King fallen in his own Lost Kingdom. As the hunter walked back, he saw the legend coming true, it was him fighting himself with a lot of Ego. While he lost his ego, he saw the world fairer than ever. Love seemed more shining than ever! Friendship was fairer than ever! Relationships were never broken, while the world never seemed greater than ever.

This gives an important moral - "Life throws challenges at you always to make you a better man than u ever were! So keep on winning to go on improving!"
