What is Blogging? by M

After I got myself into Blogging, most of the people started asking me, What exactly is a Blog?

Even I got multiple questions and I then started to think about giving an awareness of What exactly is a Blog  and What do I get writing something on the internet?

Blog - If we search the internet we will get an indefinite definition defining the basic meaning of a Blog!

A Blog is actually an article of a certain topic written by an individual or an organization, expressing their views about the topic they chose! It is like defining about a topic and continuously updating the content in the site regularly on a daily basis.

What exactly does it matter? Why do we need to Blog?

Blogging has it's own advantages. It is a way we can share and express our views with people around the globe and we can also learn things and vocabulary of the language we try to publish the content on the site. It makes us realize our efficiency in communicating certain things and also fills the gap in understanding certain things which we have never experienced.

And for the WHY of the above question! Well - Here is the answer you people need. We usually gain knowledge on a topic listening to a lecture, looking for the videos related to the topic, views shared on it from different people and also from debates conducted on the same. There are also various other sources from which we can understand a topic chosen and the means of gaining more information about it. But just imagine the mentioned things above with a larger group of audience, helping us sharing their views on the topic mentioned and making us understand and build the bridge of Gap. 

How does Blogging help me in building a Career?

This is exactly where the whole topic would finally converge. Everybody in the world wants to earn money for a living. Along with the Job, he/she needs a satisfaction along with Work Life Balance which is rare to find these days. Blogging helps us to build and write a content about the topic mentioned and enables us to earn a living hood by providing a role of CONTENT WRITER in an Organization. This is not a simple process, but is a process of constant belief, by which, we need to trust our self, make our self constantly better, and then do a lot of freelancing which gains us experience and by which one day companies ask us a sample of data to be published in their site and we will be the Original Content holders for which we will be paid.

This seems to be a long term process! We might not be sure of a dependent career on this?

Yes, I agree with the above mentioned view. This initially seems to be a hobby. But as we go on, we realize that it sooner or later becomes a hobby, just like writing a Diary. This hobby becomes a part of our life, with much more knowledge gains and we will be the source of information which seems to be like a Thesaurus of information.

How do I start one?

Blogging is a simple process. There are many blogging sites on the internet that provide us with the hosting. For example, the one in which this is published is a site of Google and is called as Blogger. The other one is Wordpress, it is also one among the finest Blogging sites with it's own advantages. Just look for the site, create an account, bind a website of your's if you have any, with the created account and start publishing the content.

I have heard about earning by Blogging. What is that?

AdSense is a product or application of Google that enables publishing of Ads on the bonded website of your's with the account created. Once, you accept to the terms and conditions going through them,there will be two types of Payments available. They are:

Cost Per Click (CPC)

Click Through Rate (CTR)

Cost Per Click is the amount that you get once a user clicks the ads using the keywords from the content mentioned in the article and  are delivered via a bidding process, including the paid results you see at the top of Google search engine results pages (SERPs) and some Google Display Network ads.

Click Through Rate is the rate of Clicks per 1000 descriptions.

Also there is another way we can also get paid when someone shows interest in our content advertised which is called as Pay Per Click (PPC).

CPC or cost per click has 2 components: Your bid and your actual price. 

CPC bid is the amount of money you are willing to pay if someone actually click on your ads,
CPC price is the amount of money you are paying as a result of the ad auction

Once, the Ads get enabled, we get paid per clicks and the above mentioned are the various methods bloggers gets paid. So, all we need to have is the proper content, with regular set of audience and most importantly, the KEYWORDS that describe the popularity of the clicks. The rest is about managing the amount with which you make your Blog an interesting one.
